Instead of small town heartache in technicolor, BND stands for robust grooves, sharp hi-hats and infectious hooks – something he demonstrates on ‘Living a Lie’, his new track on Stil vor Talent. While the atmospheric original captivates with its emotional vocals and acidic licks, Oliver Koletzki focuses on a techno bass-line, spheric bleeps and a powerful drop. Our Swiss newcomer Benotmane also drags the original’s features into darker directions: here, cinematic synths mill through tight drum programming.
